Although the best ones I have are in my physical collection. Many of those are from the two main private torrent trackers and some of them from threads like this. There is a very good 5-volume series called "Sketching Manga-Style" and despite the name, solidly covers fundamentals such as perspective, figure drawing, anatomy, etc. Some links haven't been pasted yet in other pastebin. If anyone wants to find previous thread, just check archive and hit ctrl F artbook thread before it's gone. Some other anons might suggest that soon when they pass by this thread. Unfortunately, I don't know good books on drawing anime but I think you're better off to search tutorials in dA or tumblr. So far, no one has volunteered to do that since past few threads. > Anonymous Wed Nov 25 03:03:58 2015 No.2295846Īnyone planning to do a high quality scan of "How to Render" by Scott Robertson? > z Wed Nov 25 05:43:26 2015 No.2295912 Just noticed they're in the top link of the OP, my mistake. But if you want to get good at figure drawing you need to supplement it with something like Vilppu or Bridgman and go to life drawing. It has lots of very good information and is more than enough for teaching yourself anatomy. > !GIdSSZib!rI1rTzWtIiUq0Qn4ECJHU-fOhB011wFTH8Egqdguk5M > !bFchmCAZ!papybufoEqDH8Vn19hVk8zxohaYOB5XjLM2U-EZT8Js "The Animator's Survival Kit" by Richard Williams > !yEVH0RzI!hExkmbL9WTEV20aI10De7q9J4rf3t3A6uluz4cT9FbM "Color and Light - A Guide for the Realist Painter" by James Gurney (HIGH quality scan) "Alla Prima: Everything I know about Painting" by Richard Schmid > !iB81WbxK!eNSWCFuDinDeSXib_e0s6ZpfPIAMEGEPpz8otwRiIoQ "How to Draw" by Scott Robertson (HIGH quality scan) > !CAVSjLZa!d-xFoYCx1TrzqOLbL0LVN9ZmzRrFxtaz6JDCvBSN5hY "Drawing Lessons from the Great Masters" by Robert Beverly Hale > !LZsVXTjJ!t5W4mBq9v2iBbJWxvHM04rrMtA4wV7d3ZqX4daJowL4 ![]() > !6ZsTESZD!cBHFG4pgOWGurLr8SgC79v3Eu-gOjmaH9JAC_XeYQEA "The New Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" by Betty Edwards ![]()
